Nick M. Ellis, EA
Founding Partner/ Registered Representative
As a Founding Partner of EAG Private Wealth Management, I bring over 42 years of experience in the financial services industry. My primary focus is on helping clients pursue their financial goals while supporting the advisors and representatives in our office.
After graduating from Indiana University, I began my career at Crocker Bank and later earned the Enrolled Agent designation.
I specialize in pre-retirement and post-retirement planning, helping clients build strategies designed to support long-term income, confidence, and financial security. My expertise also includes tax planning, where I help clients identify legal strategies that may reduce unnecessary taxes and preserve more of what they have worked hard to build.
What motivates me most is helping people create a better future for themselves and their families. I enjoy finding practical opportunities to improve financial outcomes and guiding clients through important decisions with clarity and care. Over four decades in this business, I have helped clients navigate changing markets, shifting economies, and life transitions while keeping their long-term goals at the center of every plan.
My passion for helping others stems from deeply personal experiences that shaped my perspective on financial security. I immigrated from England to Canada with my family in the mid-1960s as my father pursued opportunities in the aircraft industry, and we moved to California in 1968 for further opportunities in that field.
The 1970s were particularly challenging as the aircraft industry changed, and I watched my father do whatever was necessary to provide for our family. Seeing his determination inspired me to work hard in school and take on part-time jobs to help out. Those experiences gave me a lasting desire to help others prepare for life’s inevitable ups and downs.
Today, I live in Orange County, CA, with my wife, and I am proud to work alongside my son, Nicholas, who has been my business partner for more than a decade. His genuine interest in the business and the success he has achieved make me proud of the man he has become, and working beside him has been one of the greatest joys of my career.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and playing golf—activities that help me maintain the balance and perspective I bring to the clients we serve.
